His Life City Church

"Let's Worship His Holy Name!"

I want to begin with by defining a few terms that might be instructive in appreciating the objective of this article. Referring to "His Life City Church" I am thinking about the person as a believer and also as the follower of Christ. His Life City Church is the place which has a dual purpose, first is to enjoy, worship God, appreciate the words of God and Praise him. But upon realizing, it also opens your heart to communicate with God and understand the word of God. It is also a place where you can relieve your tension, pain and other things that bothers your life. His Life City Church can be a big part of your life it opens your mind just sincerely accept the word of God and apply this in your everyday life.

“Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way.
Oh! What fun it is to run in a one-horse open sleigh. Hey!”
Oh, how fun it really is to celebrate one of the most important occasions of the year, Christmas. Yes, the red and green socks hanging on the wall, a tall Christmas tree inside each home, the cold breeze rushing through your spine, and of course, the stout old man, all dressed in white and red, who loves to laugh and greet each one of us a “Merry Christmas!”.

San Fernando Cathedral

The Metropolitan Cathedral, located in front of the City Hall of the town, is considered as one of the most influential of all places in the City of San Fernando. The church measures 70 meters long, 13 meters wide and 11 meters high. So, it can hold hundreds of people when a mass is held. Inside, we could see a big dome. And the touch of Roman and Greek influence is really evident.

It's Delicious in San Fernando!

Manyaman Queng San Fernandu

By exploring different places, we can discover many wonders just like food. Food has its own variety and when talking about food, one concrete example of a place to consider visiting is San Fernando, Pampanga. Kapampangans (the people of Pampanga) offer such authentic and contemporary dishes which, in geeky talk, can make you forget yourself.

Kapampangans offer rich culture of good food that reflects its richness in tradition and practices. Many Filipino food enthusiasts know some good taste that anyone can boast about. Kapampangans are one of them. Pampanga, being known as Culinary Capital of the Philippines, offers different sumptuous dishes that are being served in every home, restaurants and special gatherings.

First stop, their famous sisig. Pampanga is also known to home the best sisig in the land. A special dish cut from pig’s head, liver and then fried with minced pork and onions. That is all served through the use of a platter, the sizzling plate. Sisig is famous to be a good companion for liquor drinkers. A beer would not be complete without having a sisig next to it. This dish also came from Batangas City.

Next on the list is tocino. When you say tocino or “pindang”, it has to be from Pampanga. They make great processed tocino on the Philippines. Tocino is a Spanish word that came from the word bacon or sometimes referred as cured meat. A native version of Longaniza is also known in Pampanga but tocino fronts everything.

Now, if you are asking for exotic delicacies, San Fernando is really a place to stop by. These exotic delicacies are one of the prides of Pampanga. One of these is the famous “betute tugak” (deep fried stuffed frogs). This dish is composed of fried field frogs with minced pork. This is also one of the reasons why tourists love to eat here and explore different genre of food.

Along with the “betute tugak”, the “kamaru” (cricket) is one of the exotic dishes in Pampanga. The crickets are well-fried that’s why tourists and visitors really enjoy their crunchiness. These are just some of the dishes and delicacies that a Filipino, especially a Kapampangan, should be proud of.

Pampanga has rich traditions that showcase their rich culture and traditions. Every cuisine they prepare, they make sure that you can say how Kapampangan meal is perfectly different from other locale.

Beautiful City (Behind The Scene)

Here's the behind the scene video of our music video 'Beautiful City!'

Himno ning Kapampangan

The RCSF feted with honors "Himno ning Kapampangan" composer and arranger Monsignor Gregorio Canlas and deceased lyricist Serafin Lacson, represented by his poet-son Ariel, in simple "first time" rites in a restaurant in this city.
The recognition was aptly described by Canlas and Lacson as "long overdue" even as they expressed sincere appreciation for RCSF's move, facilitated by Rotarian Dave Jimenez, who himself is deep into culture and arts preservation.
The local Kapampangan hymn was officially institutionalized on April 14, 1988, when then Provincial Board led by Vice Governor Cielo Macapagal-Salgado, together with the late Governor Bren Guiao signed Resolution No. 18, making it the official song of the province.
As such, it has to be sung in official functions of schools and government bodies, as well as the private sector, right after the Philippine National Anthem.
